All 221st District Court criminal jury trials are going forward as scheduled. 

The 221st District Court is now ALL in person dockets for defendants out on bond and in custody.  All defendants will need to appear in person for ALL dockets.  If you cannot appear due to illness please contact our office and  send official documentation (Home tests are not accepted)  to the court stating that you were ill on the day of court. It is important that you contact our office within a reasonable amount of time for a reset after a missed court date.

Dockets are as follows:
Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. are Jail docket and Call Docket - the Inmates are transported over to the Court. If your client for Call Docket is out on bond Please have them wait in the hallway until called.

Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. are Bonded in person dockets.  

Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. are Jail docket and 1:30 p.m. are Bonded in person dockets.

Our prosecutors are present in the courtroom during docket working out cases so it is Important for all parties to be present in order for the docket to be efficient.  If you ever have any questions our office is always available to assist.
