Reporting Abuse Allegations
All allegations of Abuse & Neglect, Exploitation & Harassment are taken very seriously by the Montgomery County Juvenile Justice Center and investigated fully to ensure the complete safety of all facility residents. The Montgomery County Juvenile Probation Department also follows all Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Guidelines and has Zero Tolerance for sexual abuse against any resident of the facility. Please visit the Texas Juvenile Justice Department's information page for more information.
Juveniles and individuals on behalf of juveniles have the right to report to MCJPD and/or TJJD any alleged harassment, abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation, including death. The TJJD Abuse Reporting Hotline number is 1-866-477-8354, and this hotline is answered by personnel from the Office of the Inspector General 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
