Montgomery County Library System
After a large demand for a library from the Willis community, the Friends of the Willis Library (FOWL) formed a temporary library in 1986 and helped make possible the construction of the Meador Branch Library's permanent building, which opened in 1991. While the branch is still in this original building, it was expanded in 2016 to include a meeting room and designated Children's area. Today, the branch serves more than 14,000 cardholders.
